It's March..Breakfast Anyone?

It's March! Yay!
Lots of exciting and wonderful things going on this month!

Are you auxilery pioneering?
Leave a comment below if you want to meet for service.
 Or email me.

Did you do your taxes yet? Only 6 weeks left.
Better get on it.

On a related note, Am I the only one who gets excited when
they e-file and get the "Your return has been accepted email"?

Who have you thanked today?

Have you thanked your childs bus driver?
Think about the valuable service they perform and show some gratitude.

Notice what one article said:
"Many people feel that their efforts go unnoticed by others..
Sincere words of commendation are not the norm in today's world.

This is hardly surprising, for the Bible foretold:
'In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.
For men will be lovers of themselves..unthankful,disloyal'
- 2 Timothy 3:1,2...

The world would be a different place
if everyone showed personal interest in others,
searched out their good qualities, and acknowledged their fine deeds.
Truly, commendation is powerful!"

Awesome things Ive been having for breakfast...

Whole Foods Breakfast Hot Bar is a great spot
for a low cost, nutrient dense, good for you breakfast.
They have pre-priced oatmeal cups that you fill yourself
and toppings like fresh fruit, dried fruit and toasted nuts.

The size I get (pictured below) is only $1.99 and fills me up.
Im pretty particular about how I like my oatmeal cooked
and I also like to make sure every meal is nutrient dense.

So, I tend to get the non oatmeal item they have on the bar.
Their quinoa porridge is my favorite.
I really need to learn how to make it myself and save some
dough, but weighing in at under $2 its not exactly a splurge.

Some examples....

Red Quinoa Porridge
with fresh strawberries and toasted almonds

Almond Rice pudding
with dates and fresh blueberries
The following is not from Whole Foods...
It's from my imagination.
(Does that word make anyone else think of Willy Wonka?
Gene Wilder (not Depp) thank you very much!)

Almond Meal Porridge
with Kefir and Vanilla Almond Granola
Almond Meal Porridge
with Unsweetened Coconut Milk Kefir and Trader Joes Vanilla Almond Granola Cereal

Easy to make and totally effective when you run out of oatmeal
but want something warm and hearty and filling.

To 3/4 c almond meal slowly add water until it is swamped but not thin. Stirring as you add water.

Sprinkle with 1/4 t cinamon.

Microwave 90 seconds.

Pour on 1/4 c Kefir and sprinkle 2 T granola on top of that.
